Hmm... What to do?

I have given The CCR a lot of thought as to how I want to approach it. I'm here to give a presentation and a directive commentary. Both of them are interesting, but only one displays my face. What must be answered are the following questions:

  • How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?
  • How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?
  • How did your production skills develop throughout this project?
  • How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project?

 CCR P. 1: Directive Commentary

Celebrities' vogue makeup looks while they discuss their personal lives and answer queries from followers served as my inspiration. As an illustration, notice Madelyn Cline applying her cosmetics for the evening while posing fan-requested questions.

I've already thought of a screenplay for how I want to respond to the relevant inquiries regarding my opening.

CCR P. 2: Presentation

Being a member of Google offers me advantages when using online tools like Blogger, Google Documents, and Google Slides to help me organize my thoughts for the project. I will use slidesgo to enhance the presentation and assist my voice sound more engaged with the aid of google slides. This project is slowly coming to a finish, so I am interested to see how it ends.

Group Meeting

We talked about common issues we had at the group meeting, one, in particular, being the approaching deadline. Lack of knowledge of what to do with our CCRs appeared to be a widespread theme. We talked about our plans for the coming week. Mine included writing the CCR screenplay while filming the last film scenes. We all agreed that the majority of our difficulties during the assignment were resolved by just sitting down and writing down our thoughts on a piece of paper or recording. Several of us are anticipating critiques in the near future as well as our finished products.

I appreciate taking part in discussions in groups about the overall procedure of each ongoing opening. It's going to be a tough week, but with the attitude of "si se puede," which means "yes you can" in Spanish, I'm motivated to keep going.

Editing Software

My worst enemy is editing!!!! My editing abilities are only fair, but I need to improve. I've come across IMovie, Adobe Premiere Pro, and OpenShot Video Editor.

An outstanding free and open-source video editor for Linux, Mac, and Windows is called OpenShot. I've seen a few of my many friends using it, and it's shown to be excellent for novices. I'm not as comfortable with it as I am with the other, but it's good to have this alternative still.

Given that so many professionals use it and because it has so many functions available to you, Adobe Premiere Pro is regarded as the greatest editing program. It's used by the Aftershock TV production team at my school, and I'm really impressed with how their videos turn out. Nevertheless, because there are so many alternatives available and I only want software that is easy to use, it is not for me personally.

IMovie, Apple's free editing program, is renowned for being the most user-friendly for beginners. Personally, I've been playing around with it and I like making projects on it. Consequently, I'll be using this editing program. Because I am already familiar with it, it is easy and straightforward.

Opening Credits Order

I've been viewing a lot of movies and picking up various knowledge on this subject from them. When I watch each of these films, I noticed that the credits are never in the same order. I am aware that I must mention:
  • Writer
  • Director
  • Producer
  • Cinematographer
  • Editor
  • Actors
  • Music

I came found Easy A's credit sequence when searching YouTube for coming-of-age movies that I knew off the top of my head. I'll be modeling the credit order in my film beginning after this one as it's in my genre. I am unsure about just how to arrange the credits for my genre, especially as I have seen so many different variations.

Shot List

Here is how I envision my art coming to life. The following shots from what I learned and liked are the following:

  • Over the Shoulder Shot
  • Wide Shot
  • Two Shot
  • Close Up Shot
  • POV Shot
  • Medium Shot

The over-the-shoulder shot can show the development of conversation between the characters which I want to do for the therapist and Lilly. The wide shot and medium shot will be the most used shots to view body language and background to aid the story. For the pov shot I want to utilize how Lilly fidgets with her hands and shows the tension of being nervous. The two shots will be shown when Lilly is seated next to Valerie to reveal the connection between the subjects. Although Lilly and Valerie have not been fully friends to this point, it shows the personality of how their opposites attract.
